Our Wedding Day

May 2016
1pm Day Guests Arrive
Please arrive by 1pm at the latest, the ceremony starts at 2pm sharp
2pm Wedding Ceremony
2pm the wedding ceremony starts, this should take about 30 minutes, after which we will head outside for confetti and pictures. We will be serving Pimms and Hors d'oeuvres before the wedding breakfast.
4pm Wedding Breakfast
We will have a welcome line heading into our wedding breakfast, due to start 4pm.
7pm Evening Guests
Evening guests are asked to arrive at 7pm, DJ will be setup and we're ready to party 🙂
9pm Evening Buffet BBQ
You're probably a bit peckish by now, but not to worry, We have BBQ food served from 9pm.
12am Carriages
You don't have to go home... but you can't stay here.
The Venue
The White Hart is a 15th century coaching inn set in beautiful countryside just outside the village of Great Yeldham in North Essex.
We’ve enjoyed visiting the White Hart many times over the years. It’s been our romantic getaway for lunch, dinner or a short stay. We have always loved the ambiance, friendly staff and the fantastic food. Hopefully, you are all able to join us on our wedding day to enjoy this fabulous venue on what is sure to be a great day.

Lots of you have questions about the big day, Hopefully, you can find the answer below.
Day guests, please arrive by 1pm as the ceremony will start at 2pm promptly (we have been warned). The venue is open from 9am and you will be able to get a drink or food from the bar if you would like to arrive a little earlier.
Evening Guests should arrive at 7pm.
For the ceremony space is limited so we please ask that if you wish to bring children you get in touch first.
After almost 10 years together we have most things we need, however, Glenn is in serious need of a tan so any contribution to our honeymoon would be gratefully received.
Yes but please let us know in advance if you require vegan or vegetarian. Please also tell us about any other special requirements i.e. nut allergies
The wedding reception will start at 7pm. Please try to be on time to catch the first dance and cake cutting.
Please dress smartly.
Free but not unlimited. We have set an allowance for the bar which should allow all of you to have a great night. Should you wish to buy a bottle you will need cash as the reception bar does not accept cards.
